ReFiBuy, a company focused on leveraging agent-based artificial intelligence for e-commerce, has announced the availability of its Commerce Intelligence Engine. This tool helps retailers, brands and agencies evaluate, enrich, distribute and monitor their products on generative AI platforms such as ChatGPT, Google Gemini, Perplexity, Meta.ai, Microsoft Copilot, Grok and Claude. The ReFyBuy engine integrates with merchants’ existing systems.

Amazon Multi-Channel Fulfillment Expands to Shein, Shopify and Walmart Amazon has announced the expansion of its Amazon Multi-Channel Fulfillment logistics service to support merchants on Shein, Shopify and Walmart. Until the end of the year, Shein merchants can fulfill their orders through the “Amazon MCF for Shein” app. Shopify merchants can now choose Amazon MCF as their fulfillment partner through the Shopify Fulfillment Network. Merchants can also use Amazon MCF for Walmart Marketplace orders.
Google launches widget to build shopper trust and boost sales. Google has released a store widget that can be embedded on any page of an existing e-commerce website. The widget displays the store’s current rating as well as details such as shipping, return policies and customer reviews. The widget is available in three tiers depending on store eligibility.
Fast Simon launches three AI agents for e-commerce brands. Fast Simon, an e-commerce optimization platform, has released three AI agents for automation and personalization. AI Shopping Assistant provides personalized product searches, interprets consumer intent and guides shoppers through complex catalogs. AI Merchandising Assistant enables merchants to manage rapidly changing product assortment and display. The AI Analytics assistant provides marketers with conversational access to statistics and reports.

Omnisend launches AI assistants, advanced SMS and enhanced reporting. Omnisend, an email and SMS marketing platform for e-commerce brands, has announced a platform update featuring personalization tools, artificial intelligence assistants, advanced SMS features and improved reporting. With its Personalize Content suite, Omnisend automatically displays recently viewed products in campaign emails, suggests complementary products based on purchase history, and dynamically displays blocks of content. It also (i) enables the creation of AI-driven forms based on events, brand assets and tone, and (ii) facilitates branded domain shortlinks and enhanced reporting.
Numeral raises $35 million to automate sales tax with AI. Numeral, an AI-powered sales tax compliance platform, announced a $35 million funding round from Mayfield, with participation from Benchmark, Uncork Capital, Y Combinator and Mantis. The funding will support product innovation, global expansion and AI-driven automation. Numeral says it serves 2,000 e-commerce and SaaS brands, including Ridge, Eight Sleep, Graza, Grüns and Manus. The company supports tax compliance in 60 countries.
Amazon provides access to the Marketing Cloud for Sponsored Ads advertisers. Amazon has opened Marketing Cloud to provide instant, self-service access to all Sponsored Ads advertisers directly within their Amazon Ads account. This feature allows advertisers to take advantage of the Marketing Cloud analytics suite immediately after signing up, without requiring partner intervention. Through an improved interface with no-code templates and AI assistance, advertisers can analyze campaign performance and create high-intent audiences to increase the relevance and effectiveness of their sponsored advertising campaigns, according to Amazon.
Yuno eliminates Nova AI agents to convert payment frictions. Yuno, a financial infrastructure platform for global payments, has launched Nova, a range of AI agents that streamline payment friction. Nova says it turns declined cards, abandoned checkouts and missed payments into AI-powered customer conversations via phone and WhatsApp. AI agents choose the optimal outreach method, generate the right script, localize conversations into 70 languages, and dynamically adapt based on customer responses and preferences.

Social commerce platform Whop launches payments with smart routing. Whop, a social commerce platform, has launched a comprehensive payment infrastructure. Whop Payments connects to multiple processors simultaneously, redirects declined transactions to alternative providers, while offering merchants instant payouts via cryptocurrency and traditional banking channels in 241 regions worldwide. The system’s backup routing is activated immediately when a rejection occurs, routing payments through alternate processors to consume the transactions. Sellers receive funds through traditional bank transfers, Bitcoin, stablecoins, or digital wallets like Venmo.
Amazon Ads launches AI agent tool to create ads. Amazon Ads has announced an AI agent tool for creating ads for campaigns. Within Creative Studio, advertisers can click “chat” to access an AI conversational partner who can research, brainstorm ideas, develop storyboard concepts, and create video and display ads. The tool combines shopper signals with information from the advertiser’s product pages, brand store and website.
Google and PayPal are working together on business features. Google and PayPal have announced a multi-year partnership aimed at advancing several business functions. PayPal features, including branded checkouts, Hyperwallet and payouts, will be integrated with various Google products. PayPal Enterprise Payments will be one of the key card processors on Google Cloud, Google Ads and Google Play. PayPal will also partner with Google Cloud to overhaul its technology foundation, applications and infrastructure.
Bolt Launches First Digital Commerce Acceleration Program Bolt, a fintech company specializing in one-click checkouts, has launched Activate to help e-commerce founders bring ideas to market faster and scale. The program focuses on (i) early-stage direct-to-consumer businesses, (ii) gaming, fintech, consumer health and creator-led brands, and (iii) brick-and-mortar retail companies expanding into e-commerce. Participants get access to Bolt’s one-click checkout and product suite, as well as a curated global network of founders.
