Last week, OpenIa “Instant Checkout for Chatgpt, a function allowing consumers to buy products without leaving the platform.
The feature that uses the Stripe Agency to facilitate AI transactions is available for ETSY traders and soon for Shopify. The open-source version allows every merchant or developer to create their own integration.

How to optimize for generative engines? The product data itself may not increase visibility. Remember that Chatgpt is not just relying on keywords. The key context of conversations is key.
The challenge may not initially require product recommendations. For example, a user can start looking for ankle pain solution. The following dialog may include buying running shoes with better ankle support.
More details may appear. Does the user live in a rainy condition and therefore require waterproof shoes? Does the user run on trails or flat surfaces?
The solution of all possible scenarios through product data is seemingly impossible, but traders should deal with so many cases of use as practical and at the same time encourage discussions outside the locality in Reddit and elsewhere for context.

CHATGPT specifications allow 150 characters for product name and 5,000 for its description.
Fill all fields to feed the products and available characters. The more information it has, the better the Chatgpt can eject your product for different challenges. For example, the “weight” field can increase visibility when consumers are looking for light goods.
Specifications Feed Chatgpt include unique fields that need to be kept in mind:
- “Related_product_id” for “Recommendations for Basket Building and Cross Sales Opportunities.” Immediate cash register only allows purchases with one product, but OpenIa says that more products are coming. Eventually, Chatgpt could help recommend more of your products and assign similar items.
- “Q_and_a.” This field has no character limit – seemingly ideal for further information. In my testing, AI agents can easily load data from questions and answers.
- “Popularity_Score” can mediate your most sought -after goods. Chatgpt does not explain the impact of the field. But is it a wild west for generative engine optimization and who knows? The popularity of the item can help her stand out.
